Designed for youth ages 8 and up and of any skill level looking to improve their athletic performance. Camp is designed to improve overall quickness, strength, speed and agility. Main focus will be on footwork, legs and core strength; along with: foot speed, lateral quickness, acceleration, balance, reaction, and confidence. Camp instructed by Maurice McClain. Camp Mission: Provide each camper a fun, positive learning experience, special attention, and individual instruction. We will cover succeeding, character, attitude, and hard work.
Camp is for boys and girls entering grades 2-9.

Up to the challenge of getting dirty? You’ve come to the right place! The Y will host the 3rd Annual Mississippi Mud Mania Run. Be the first to get down and dirty with us and participate in an event that’s fun for the whole family and is sure to become an epic tradition! NEW this yar is a Kids Mud Run 1 mile obstacle course for ages 8+ and a canine run.
The obstacle course is open to Individuals, groups and organizations and is sure to challenge and thrill participants. Challenge yourself, get a group together and make it a team effort, feel good and get a little dirty. Register now to make sure you get a spot!
Proceeds from the event will support a wide variety of youth development programs at the Quincy YMCA that encourage healthy living.
The backbone of the YMCA is it's volunteers, without you our events would not be successful. The Y is currently looking for volunteers for the 3rd Annual Mississippi Mud Mania on June 13. Volunteers are needed for parking, bag check, packet pick up, water stations, obstacle and trail monitors, set up and clean up.
