YMCA Membership Options

Automatic Monthly Payments

Becoming a member is easy. Simply fill out the application, pay a one-time joiner fee and enjoy all the amenities the Y has to offer. If you aren't sure where to start, ask the Welcome Desk. They can give you a tour of the facility or schedule and appointment for a Wellness Center orientation where you will learn what each machine does and how to properly use it. 

Membership Brochure

Don't do it alone, bring a friend! Each family membership receives 6 guest passes every 6 months (Single Parent Family, Adult, and Older Adult receive 3). Your guest will be required to fill out a guest form and must be accompanied by a member.

Memberships can be paid annually or through automatic bank withdrawal or credit card each month. Bank drafts are done on the 15th and 28th of each month. Annual memberships are non-refundable. 

The membership categories and descriptions as of February 1, 2014 are as follows: 

Family Membership

$63.50 per month

Two adults or two adults and any dependant children living in the same household age 18 and under, ages 23 and under, if full time college student.


Single Parent Membership

$47.25 per month

One adult and any dependent children living in the same household age 18 and under, ages 23 and under, if full time college student.



$39.00 per month

Ages 19-64


Older Adult

$37.00 per month

Ages 65+




Youth (Limited Hours)

$17.50 per month

Ages birth - 13, limited facility use hours and privileges



$24.50 per month

Ages 14 - 18


Young Adult

$30.75 per month

New members are required to pay joiner fees:

YMCA Monthly Memberships

The YMCA now offers membership where you have the option to pay for the month by cash, check or credit card without having to set up your membership on automatic monthly payments. All you do is pay for your month and it's good for 30 days! This membership type does not come with guest passes and is not eligible for any type of discount. Contact the Welcome Desk for more information. 


Senior Club

Seniors (65+) are allowed to use the Y facility for FREE on Thursdays from 5am - 5pm for a one month trial. Seniors will have full access to the facility just like our members do where they can participate in water aerobics, open swimming, group fitness classes, use the cardio and strength equipment, socialize, play games and enjoy refreshments. When their free month is over they may choose to become an Active Older Adult member with full benefits or join our Senior Club with limited access. Senior Club members may access the facility on Monday through Friday from 12pm - 3pm. Cost for Senior Club is $29 per month. To participate in Free Senior Trial you must tour the YMCA facility. Financial Assistance:

The Quincy Family YMCA strives to provide membership, programs and services to all who wish to participate. Our scholarship program provides memberships and program financial assistance for those in need within the community. There is a $10 processing fee for all applications that will be used towards your first payment if you decide to become a member. Refer a Friend:

There has never been an easier way to get a month of your membership FREE! As a *regularly paying member of the YMCA if you refer a friend who pays for their membership through automatic monthly payments, you receive a month free and your friend receives a month free. More details about the program can be found here.

*A regularly paying member is considered to be members that pay by monthly bank draft or annual payments. This promotion is not open to those who pay on a month-to-month basis. If a member pays through payroll deduct through the workplace, the member will receive a credit on their account to be used towards programs or merchandise.


Day Passes:

A single day pass may be purchased at the Welcome Desk. Prices are:

Adult - $9
Active Older Adult  & Teen: $7
Youth - $5
Family - $20 


Membership Cards:

A membership card is issued to every member and must be presented when visiting or using the YMCA. If a card is lost or damaged, a replacement card may be purchased at the Welcome Desk for a fee of $1, covering the cost of the card to the YMCA.

Cancellation Policy:

Memberships paid monthly may be cancelled, by payee, at anytime. All cancellation requests must be in writing. A membership cancellation form is available at the Welcome Desk. For security reasons, cancellations cannot be made via telephone. Members using the bank draft/continuous membership plan may cancel their membership, without additional charges, by giving the YMCA 30-days written notice. The Y needs 30-days to contact the banking institution and remove the transaction. If, after cancellation through the proper procedures, a bank draft is not stopped and it is the YMCA’s error, a refund can be given. It is the responsibility of the member to monitor bank statements. Errors must be reported within 30-days to be given a refund. Memberships paid annually are non-refundable.
